Although the credibility of homeopathy is raising among the Brazilian general population and government and academic institutions, the training of homeopaths disagrees with the exigences presented by clinical practice. This article discusses a proposal to reformulate the pedagogical practice, centered on the student as the builder of knowledge. The training basic block would be the small group, composed by students and a tutor; all activities would be performed in the concrete practice situation. The full process would unfold in three stages: 1) deconstruction of previous knowledge and establishment of new notions; 2) deepening into the homeopathic specific features; 3) discussion of homeopathy philosophical and epistemological issues, as well as its conection to related areas.
